Aymeric Laporte hits out at Barcelona transfer links

Manchester City defender Aymeric Laporte has taken to social media to hit out at rumors linking him with a move to Barcelona.

 While responding to Lopez’s claim,

“Dani, nobody has talked to you and nobody will talk to you”, Laporte tweeted.

This is a positive news for City supporters who will hope they can retain Laporte’s services this summer and see the Spanish international back to his best next season

Man City identify Harry Kane alternative

Manchester City have named Joao Felix as a viable transfer option to Harry Kane this summer.

That is according to EuroSport who report Tottenham will only endorse an exit for Kane for a bid in the region of £150m, which could lead the Blues to end their chase of the Spurs star and to look elsewhere in their search to find their Sergio Aguero replacement.

The article claims City chiefs are long-term fans of Felix, 21, who joined Atletico Madrid for £113m two years ago and that transfer from Benfica remains the world’s fourth most costly deal, although it’s said that the La Liga champions wouldn’t rule out a sale.

Interestingly, the article also states that Atletico are involved in signing Bernardo Silva, and while it’s been earlier declared City won’t be lured into any swap deals, it’s said their long-term admiration for Felix could possibly sway them into negotiations.

Pep Guardiola’s private agreement with Bernardo Silva edges Barcelona closer to transfer

Bernardo Silva is said to have been assured he can leave Manchester City this summer by manager Pep Guardiola.

The deal between the two figures is said to have been reached over a year ago, when Barcelona aspired to bring the Portuguese attacker to Camp Nou.

Yet a suitable offer did not come, meaning Guardiola was made to dig his heels in and keep hold of Bernardo for another season.

Now the playmaker wants to try something fresh after winning three Premier League titles, four League Cups and the FA Cup while at the Etihad Stadium.

City are ready to let him leave as they look to raise reserves for the signings of Jack Grealish and Harry Kane.

However, they would favor a straight cash transaction as Barcelona prepare a potential swap deal offer.

Daniel Levy privately reiterates Harry Kane stance amid Man City interest

According to Eurosport, Tottenham Hotspur chairman Daniel Levy is holding firm on his position of wanting at least £150m for star striker Harry Kane amid Man City interest.

Kane’s future at Tottenham has become a huge topic of consideration for a couple of months now.

Daniel Levy, though, is absurd to yield that easily. Known as one of the toughest negotiators in the transfer market, the Tottenham chairman is resolute that any deal for his star striker will only be considered if an offer of £150m or more is made. Otherwise, he will not entertain any approach from any club.

This comes after Levy appeared to issue Kane a warning over his transfer in a recent interview when he maintained that he will decide what is best for the club.

Man City star reveals his transfer stance.

Lukas Nmecha has revealed to HLN why he is departing Anderlecht but will not return to Man City this summer.

The 22-year-old now plans to continue his career in his native Germany than attempt a stay at Lotto Park.

Nmecha informed Anderlecht of his plans to join a Bundesliga outfit in the transfer market as his mind is set.

Kompany was keen to examine a deal for Nmecha to stay at Anderlecht beyond his loan from Man City. The Citizens icon affirmed, via Les Sports+, in May that ‘everyone here is a fan of him’ but knew negotiations would be tough.

Manchester City interested in Florian Neuhaus

According to a report by Spanish publication AS (h/t The Express), Manchester City are involved in Borussia Monchengladbach midfielder Florian Neuhaus.

The 24-year-old midfielder is profoundly linked to Liverpool as well who are in a strong position to sign him from the Bundesliga side.

However, the report suggests that Bayern Munich are also in the fray. Neuhaus has dazzled at Monchengladbach this season and City want to strengthen their midfield going into next season.

And if City sign Neuhaus and Liverpool fail to bring in any other midfielder, it would be a bonus for City to reinforce their squad at the expense of their rivals.

AS Roma are interested in signing Manchester City defender Nathan Ake

According to a report from Calciomercato, AS Roma are involved in signing Manchester City defender Nathan Ake on a season-long loan deal during the summer transfer window.

Nathan Ake, 26, survived a frustrating debut campaign with Manchester City after arriving from relegated Bournemouth last summer.

Ake has already drawn interest from City’s cross-town rivals Manchester United, but AS Roma could look to move swiftly to see off competition for his signature.

Roma, under the new management of Jose Mourinho, are looking to fix its backline ahead of the 2021/22 Serie A campaign.

Calciomercato claim among the list of defenders that has caught Roma sporting director Tiago Pinto’s attention is Ake.
