Manchester City player misses national team training – with new ‘Stomach problem’ concern

Brazilian national team goalkeeper Ederson was unable to participate in Wednesday’s training session due to a stomach issue, as reported by  UOL

The Manchester City player was absent from the field and did not join his fellow teammates.

According to the report, Brazil’s medical staff will be keeping a close eye on Ederson’s condition, but there is optimism that he will be able to participate in the upcoming game. Brazil has opted to play just one friendly during this international break and will face Morocco on Saturday.

Although the game against Morocco may not hold significant importance, it presents an opportunity for Ederson to establish himself as the starting goalkeeper for the Brazilian national team.

After the World Cup, former manager Tite resigned from his position, and caretaker coach Ramon Menezes has taken over for the time being.

In his first call-up, Menezes did not include Alisson, who was Brazil’s number one goalkeeper at the World Cup. This means that the starting position is currently vacant, providing an opportunity for Ederson to seize it.

. With the starting goalkeeper position currently open for the Brazilian national team, Ederson has a chance to prove himself and establish himself as the new number one goalkeeper.

Even if a new permanent manager is appointed in the future, a strong performance by Ederson could increase his chances of retaining the starting position.
