Manchester City make enquiry over €100M striker – Chelsea, PSG, and Manchester United also interested
Reports suggest that Chelsea, PSG, Manchester United, and Manchester City are all interested in signing Victor Osimhen from Napoli.
The 24-year-old has been in excellent form this season, helping Napoli to become the current clear leaders of Italy’s top league.
Osimhen has scored an impressive 19 goals and provided five assists in 22 appearances in Serie A, forming a potent partnership with his teammates in attack.
Napoli, led by manager Luciano Spalletti, have established a commanding 18-point lead at the top of the Serie A table after 26 matches, outpacing the likes of Inter, Lazio, Milan, and Roma.
Despite their strong position, the Italian side may face a challenge to retain the services of their star striker, Victor Osimhen, given interest from other clubs, including Manchester City.
Florian Plettenburg’s information suggests that City have made an enquiry regarding Osimhen, despite already having strong options at centre-forward with Erling Haaland and Julian Alvarez.

According to the report, Manchester City, Chelsea, Paris Saint-Germain, and Manchester United are all vying for Victor Osimhen’s signature, with talks having already taken place.
However, it is noted that Bayern Munich is not involved in the pursuit of the Nigerian striker, as a transfer fee of over €100 million is not deemed feasible for the club.
The news about Manchester City’s interest in Victor Osimhen may come as a surprise to some of the club’s supporters.
This is not only because they already have Erling Haaland and Julian Alvarez as striking options, but also because the club is reportedly monitoring the performances of another Napoli forward, Khvicha Kvaratskhelia.
The Georgian player is being considered as a potential addition to the team’s attack next season, with City officials interested in his pace and ability to play on the wings under Pep Guardiola’s system.
There is a belief among some that Napoli is unlikely to allow the sale of both Victor Osimhen and Khvicha Kvaratskhelia in the same transfer window unless they receive astronomical offers.
Therefore, it may be challenging for Manchester City or any other club to sign both forwards from the Italian side in the upcoming summer transfer window.
