Man Utd star rattles Barcelona supporters with comment on Instagram following Real Madrid’s 4-0 victory
Alejandro Garnacho caused a stir on Instagram with his response to Vinicius Junior’s post following Real Madrid’s 4-0 Copa del Rey victory over Barcelona.
In the rout at Camp Nou, Vinicius scored one of Madrid’s goals and assisted Karim Benzema, who scored a hat-trick.
It was a humiliating scoreline for Barcelona and their manager Xavi, whose team currently leads La Liga by 12 points.
Real Madrid will now play Osasuna on May 6 in the Copa del Rey final.
“We played a great game, and it was a deserved result,” Madrid boss Carlo Ancelotti told reporters after the match, per Football Espana.
“We did very well in the second half, in a very difficult game. When we had the opportunity, we created danger in transitions.
“We delivered on everything, both offensively and defensively. Vinicius has complied, he scored and Benzema has also returned. Today, he has been as decisive as he always is”.
A deflated Xavi, on the other hand, told reporters: “We’re hurt today, yes. It will be hard to sleep, more so as the big Barça fan that I am.
“I told the players (this could happen), we had chances but went in at 1-0. It’s a shame because we competed well in the first half and that was our moment.
“In the second Madrid were better, sincerely, they were better physically, they pressed us high. There are no excuses.”
What Garnacho wrote on Vinicius’ Instagram post
Vinicius, one of the night’s stars, posted the following on Instagram after the Clasico: “Remontada (the Spanish word for comeback) y Final = Real Madrid.”
In addition, Garnacho’s response was noted.
The 18-year-old, who has played for both Spain and Argentina at the youth level but was born in Madrid, responded with “Normal” and two laughing emojis.

Garnacho’s remark, it is safe to say, has not amused Barcelona supporters.
Since the comment surfaced, he has been called “embarrassing” and worse on Twitter.
Does Garnacho have an issue with Barcelona?
This is not the first time this season that Garnacho has had a dispute with Barca supporters.
The talented winger was accused of making fun of Pedri by mimicking his celebration after Manchester United eliminated Barcelona from the Europa League in February.

According to talkSPORT, the Catalan publication Mundo Deportivo stated at the time that it was a “very tasteless gesture for an 18-year-old boy who hasn’t been in elite football for very long.”
