Man Utd prepared to settle £20.8m-a-year agreement to sign £30m ‘incredible’ player– Report
Manchester United are in need of a quality centre forward, and rumours say that they are willing to pay a high price to recruit Robert Lewandowski.
Despite having a year left on his contract, the Polish international has indicated numerous times that he wishes to leave Bayern Munich this summer.
According to an exclusive scoop in The Sun, enticing a striker is one of Old Trafford’s priorities, and the club would go all out to sign the great goalscorer if he does not end up joining Barcelona.
According to a British news outlet, the Red Devils will offer Lewandowski a deal comparable to the one that enticed Cristiano Ronaldo back to the club last year.
United would not be frightened off by a weekly wage of £400,000 (£20.8 million).
The former Borussia Dortmund star appeared in 46 games for the Bavarians last season, contributing directly to 57 goals (50 goals and 7 assists).
He’ll be 34 in August, yet he’s still one of the world’s most lethal finishes.
The veteran has won every domestic title in German football multiple times and was a member of Bayern’s treble-winning squad in 2020 (including the Champions League).
In an interview with Marca last month, retired Polish goalkeeper Jerzy Dudek declared that Lewandowski is an “incredible” player who has been Europe’s top forward for many years.
According to reports (CdS), the Bundesliga champions are willing to let their prized asset leave for a cost of 35 million euros (£30 million).
