Man Utd make decision over Mason Greenwood return to training
According to reports, it has been conveyed to Mason Greenwood by Manchester United that he will not be allowed to resume training until the season is over.
The 21-year-old hasn’t participated in any games for United since January last year because he was arrested and accused of attempted rape, controlling behavior, and assault.
However, in February, all charges against Greenwood were dismissed after the Crown Prosecution Service determined that there was insufficient evidence to support a conviction. Despite this, United stated that they would conduct their own internal review before making any decisions about Greenwood’s future with the club.
According to MailOnline, Greenwood has met with United representatives and “emphasized his desire to return as soon as possible.”
However, according to the report, United will not allow Greenwood to return to training until at least the following season.
