While negotiations for an extension between Mount and Chelsea have reached an impasse, it is anticipated that reaching personal terms with Manchester United will not pose a challenge.

The club’s decision-makers are also drawn to Mount’s versatility, appreciating his ability to contribute in multiple positions. In addition to pursuing Mount, the Red Devils are eager to secure the services of Harry Kane, the current captain of the England national team, during the summer transfer window.
However, United acknowledges the challenges associated with completing a deal for Kane, as he has just one year remaining on his contract with Tottenham Hotspur. Despite this, Spurs are unwilling to sell and will attempt to persuade the 29-year-old striker to sign a new contract.
There is a possibility that Harry Kane might choose to let his contract run down and leave Tottenham on a free transfer in 2024. Manchester United will face competition from Real Madrid in their pursuit of Kane’s signature.
