Man Utd have four players Tottenham may accept in Harry Kane transfer swap

Erik ten Hag’s  Manchester United  team has recognized the requirement for a high-quality striker in the upcoming transfer window.

Two players, Harry Kane and Victor Osimhen, have been linked with moves to Old Trafford for the next season.

Nevertheless, the potential transfers of both these players may prove to be costly, especially given the uncertain ownership situation of the club.

According to The Sun, Manchester United are eager to sign Harry Kane during the summer transfer window and have had positive initial discussions with his representatives.

The club has contacted the English captain through a third party and received a favorable response.

Manchester United is confident that Tottenham Hotspur will reduce their asking price to below £100 million for Kane at the end of the season if they fail to finish in the top four.

Currently, Antonio Conte’s team is in fourth place in the Premier League, with only a three-point lead over Liverpool, who have played a game less.

SportsDias has identified four players that Manchester United could offer to Tottenham Hotspur to further lower the asking price for Kane if they so choose.

Anthony Martial

In the event that Tottenham loses Harry Kane to Manchester United as the English striker’s contract runs out, they may seek to strengthen their own forward options in the same deal.

Any potential replacement for Kane would come at a significant cost, and Tottenham may ask for Anthony Martial’s services in exchange for Richarlison, who has not yet scored a Premier League goal since his move from Everton last summer.

Tottenham has been linked with the Frenchman on several occasions in the past, and if Manchester United manages to acquire Kane while Martial has less than 18 months left on his contract, this summer could be an opportunity for United to cash in on him.

Although Martial has shown his worth whenever he has been fit to play, United may consider letting him go if it enables them to secure Kane’s services.

Harry Maguire

There are reports suggesting that Manchester United’s captain, Harry Maguire, could leave the club in the summer in search of regular playing time. Maguire has fallen down the pecking order behind Raphael Varane and Lisandro Martinez, and has even been surpassed by Luke Shaw in the team’s selection.

Tottenham Hotspur could be interested in acquiring Maguire, particularly to play on the left of a three-man defence if they do not take up the option to purchase Clement Lenglet’s loan.

If Spurs manage to hold on to fourth place in the Premier League, Maguire may see this as his only chance of getting first-team football in England while also competing in the Champions League.

Donny van de Beek

Spurs’ midfield has been lacking in creativity, with the current options being more focused on work rate and defensive duties rather than playmaking abilities.

The club has been linked with Donny van de Beek, who has struggled to make an impact at Manchester United, but was previously successful under Ten Hag at Ajax.

With his injury ruling him out for the rest of the season, a move to Spurs could provide him with a fresh start and offer a much-needed creative spark to the midfield.

Dean Henderson

To address their goalkeeping concerns, Spurs have reportedly considered Jordan Pickford and David Raya, but they may prove too costly compared to Dean Henderson, who has been suggested as an alternative.

Henderson, who had a successful loan spell at Nottingham Forest before being sidelined with a muscle injury, could be a more financially viable option for Spurs, and United could use him as a bargaining chip to bring down the asking price for Kane.
