Man City to end their hunt Harry Kane on one condition.
Harry Kane could stay at Tottenham as Manchester City prioritize Jack Grealish’s transfer.
According to the Manchester Evening News (h/t Daily Mail), Manchester City will end their hunt for Harry Kane should they complete the £100million signing of Aston Villa star Jack Grealish– news that would be music to the ears of Tottenham Hotspur supportes and the club’s hierarchy.
Harry Kane, who was going to force for a move to Manchester City once he was back to training on Monday, might be futile in his pursuit as the Manchester-based club would not have the funds to sign both Grealish and the 28-year-old striker in the same transfer window.
Tottenham supporters would be delighted with this news as club owner Daniel Levy & co. have been hesitant to let the player go and were only ready to consider a fee in the range of £150m if a sale was to happen.
Tottenham rejected a £100m bid for Kane from Manchester City earlier this summer, showing that they will not budge on the player’s £150m valuation especially with the player still having three years remaining on his current contract.

Kane, who won the Premier League golden boot with 23 goals and the playmaker award with the most assists (14), is a vital part of Tottenham– something Spurs have repeated time and again.
As for Manchester City, the only way they could get their hands on Kane is if they sell a couple of their current players, which in turn, would generate the funds to sign the Englishman from Tottenham. (h/t Daily Mail).
However, as of now, Harry Kane is a Tottenham player but only time will tell if the forward remains at the club beyond the summer.
Nuno Espirito Santo, Spurs’ new manager, would certainly be helped in his hunt for silverware if he has one of Europe’s best strikers leading his line.’
