Man City not interested in 29-year-old Harry Kane
Manchester City will not return to Tottenham for Harry Kane next summer when he will be an old 29 – so any deal has to be completed this summer.
City are yet to improve on their first £100m offer for Kane but do plan to make another bid before the window shuts, according to the Daily Mail.
It remains to be seen whether that next bid will come near to the £150m reportedly wanted by Tottenham to sell their biggest asset; the Mail say Daniel Levy ‘will not welcome offers south of that’.
City will apparently make it obvious that this summer’s big money will be the last time they will offer such sums for a player who will be 29 before the start of next term.
Erling Haaland will be available next summer for an insanely low price of £67m while Kylian Mbappe will be available for nothing, which is very careless of PSG.

Kane is still anticipated by the bookies to complete his move to City, though the club have included him in their Conference League squad to play Pacos de Ferreira.
Kane missed Sunday’s encounter between Tottenham and Manchester City, though that did not stop him being dominant in reaction to the game.
The England skipper did not return from holiday in time to be seriously contemplated for a place in the team and was afforded an extra rest after his endeavors during Euro 2020.
The striker remains ‘desperate’ to join Manchester City and realize his dream of winning awards but ‘is insistent he will make himself available’ for Tottenham while he is still their player.
It was alleged at the weekend that Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy was ‘digging in’ over Kane as the transfer deadline approaches, with the club expected to keep him for at least another year.
