Man City injury blow that could earn Chelsea Champions League advantage.

Manchester City have been dealt a probably huge injury blow on the eve of their Champions League final with Chelsea.
Pep Guardiola’s men are aiming to accomplish their club’s first-ever Champions League title on Saturday night when they face Premier League rivals, Chelsea, in Porto.
But in the build-up to the mouth-watering encounter, City have been dealt what could be a tremendous blow in the form of a potential injury.
City held a training session this evening ahead of Saturday night’s big game, and journalist Marcelo Bechler has reported that midfield star Ilkay Gundogan has pulled up with an injury.
He tweeted: “Gundogan leaves training limping! It appears to be a muscle problem in the thigh.”
Gundogan had been many people’s nominations for Premier League player of the year having played such a large part in Manchester City’s title achievement.

His absence would be a great disadvantage for Guardiola, especially this late in the day, possibly offering Chelsea a boost in the process.
Whether Gundogan can shake off the injury in time remains to be seen, but we are now very close to the final, and the point that it appeared to be a muscular injury will be of real issue for City.
Though, others who testified the injury claim it was more of a bump having come together with Benjamin Mendy. If that is the case, City will be far more positive about his fitness for the final encounter, with bruising far more likely, something the German can more than likely play through.
Like many players, Gundogan has played a huge number of games this summer, racking up 45 in total so far, including 11 in the Champions League.
