Man City gets Tottenham’s answer on Harry Kane players’ swap deal.
Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy will not take player exchange opportunities for Harry Kane – including Manchester City’s offer of Raheem Sterling and Gabriel Jesus for the England striker.
Kane is inspired to bequeath Spurs this summer with City, Manchester United and Chelsea involved in signing one of the Premier League’s most fertile sharpshooters.
City are prepared to offer Sterling and Jesus in their attempt to sign Kane with The Etihad Stadium thought to be his favored destination.
Levy however wants at least £150m for the Tottenham star and will not entertain anything other than a cash offer for the 27-year-old, according to The Sun.
The Spurs chief is reportedly not interested in ‘cast-offs’ and even Premier League title winners Sterling and Jesus are absurd to lure him into doing business.
Tottenham’s choice is cash to bring in players of their own choice – with Levy also cautious the club will not be able to afford Sterling’s £300,000-a-week wages.

Levy is also said to be convinced neither player will be ready to join a club not playing in the Champions League – with Spurs set for a spell in the third-tier Europa Conference League next season.
The report adds that City, United and Chelsea have all held talks with Kane’s agents but discussions with Tottenham are yet to take place.
City manager Pep Guardiola is reportedly eager for the club to sign both Kane and Aston Villa captain Jack Grealish this summer.
But according to ESPN, Guardiola sees the signing of Grealish as the same value as Kane, while City believes they can achieve a deal for Villa’s £100m-rated captain.
The report also alleges that City have also been given encouragement that a deal for Grealish is possible this summer due to Villa’s £33m move to sign Norwich City midfielder Emiliano Buendia.
It’s also alleged that Guardiola sees Grealish as an ideal long-term partner for Phil Foden in City’s attacking midfield.
Grealish signed a new deal with Villa last year which holds him tied to the club until 2025.
