‘Look at the manager’: Richard Keys criticizes what Arteta did straight after Arsenal win

Arsenal vs. Fulham turned out to be a much more difficult match for the hosts than expected.

On Saturday evening, the Gunners defeated their London rivals 2-1 at the Emirates Stadium.

As a result, Arsenal maintained its perfect start to the Premier League season, winning four of four games.

Gabriel Magalhaes made amends for his earlier gaffe with a late winner for Mikel Arteta’s side.

As a result of the come-from-behind victory, there was a party atmosphere inside the North Londoners’ stadium, with Aleksandar Mitrovic putting the Cottagers ahead.

Nobody looked happier after the game than Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta.

The Spaniard was seen beaming from ear to ear as he entered the pitch at full time to congratulate his players, and Richard Keys has slammed the Gunners manager, calling him ‘extremely irritating.’

He said on BeIN Sport: “Look at the manager. You’re joking! They’re over celebrating this. It’s a 2-1 win against newly promoted Fulham. I don’t understand this. They’ve won nothing. I can’t hide the fact I find him extremely irritating, waving his arms around like a windmill for 90 minutes, as if anybody can hear him.”

Arsenal has won nothing, according to Keys.

However, morale is an important aspect of football, and it is difficult to win games without it.

So, while they aren’t exactly beating England’s elite, having won against Crystal Palace, Leicester, Bournemouth, and Fulham this season, they are accumulating a feel-good factor, which makes them a dangerous proposition on its own.

Who cares in any case?

Arteta has taken a lot of flak from the media during his two-and-a-half year stint at the Emirates, so taking victories when they come is important, regardless of who they’re against.
