Liverpool player house robbed by burglars looking for specific items
The news outlet GOAL has reported that the home of the renowned Liverpool footballer, Mohamed Salah, located in the Fifth Settlement region of Cairo, was robbed over the weekend, with the thieves taking some satellite receivers.
The authorities in Egypt are presently looking into the incident, and security personnel are being questioned, while surveillance footage is being examined to determine the culprits and to gain a better understanding of the incident.
It appears that the robbers were particularly interested in the satellite receivers.
The burglary at Salah’s home in Cairo was discovered by his nephew, who noticed that the windows of the property were open. Upon closer inspection, the nephew found that the villa was in disarray, and some satellite receivers had been taken.
Mohamed Salah had a challenging weekend, as he missed a crucial penalty during Liverpool’s 1-0 defeat to Bournemouth on Saturday as his team strive to a top four finish after a poor start of the campaign.
Meanwhile, the investigation by the Egyptian authorities into the burglary at his home is ongoing, and more information on the matter is expected to emerge soon.
