Liverpool told they could secure their target on £42.8m 

Naples based side have some severe financial challenges and reports hint that club president, Aurelio de Laurentiis, is ready to sell Koulibaly for just £42.8m.

According to a recent report reported by La Gazzetta Dello Sport, due to economic interests, the Diego Armando Maradona Stadium outfit are ready to cut the salaries of the players for next season and are even ready to sell stars.

Sporting director, Cristiano Giuntoli, has been ordered to evaluate offers for Koulibaly in the summer transfer window.

It is further alleged the African would like to experience the Premier League. As mentioned above, to sell him, De Laurentiis has asked for a fee of £42.8m (50 million euros).

Relief to Liverpool as 24-year-old target denies agreement with German giants.

Speaking to TZ (h/t Daily Star), Borussia Monchengladbach midfielder and Liverpool transfer spot Florian Neuhaus has revoked the meditations that he has an agreement to sign for Bayern Munich in 2022.

Neuhaus has been on the radars of Liverpool for quite some time now with the club viewing for reinforcements in midfield to succeed the exit-bound Georginio Wijnaldum. 

However, reports earlier this week alleged that the Reds had been dealt a blow in their pursuit of the 24-year-old German international, as he had agreed to move to reigning Bundesliga champions Bayern Munich in the summer of 2022.

Neuhaus, though, has immediately moved to dash those rumors, maintaining that he has no deal in place to move to the record German champions next year. (h/t Daily Star)

“I read that my move to FC Bayern in 2022 was already a done deal. I can clearly deny that here and now. I haven’t signed a contract anywhere except with Borussia Mönchengladbach. I feel very much at home there at the moment.”

This development should come as a lift for Liverpool and their aspirations of signing Neuhaus.

Fabrizio Romano has ruled out Liverpool’s chances of signing Mbappe this summer.

As cited by Madrid Xtra above, Romano announced the news on his Here We Go podcast.

It looks as though Liverpool are more than unquestionably out of the race for the French striker this summer.

As ridiculous as it would be to be able to secure a player such as Mbappe, it just isn’t practical.

The Frenchman would cost more than his current market value, which is currently sat at £144million.

This sort of money just isn’t in Liverpool’s possession right now, with the club having to at smart in the market.
