Liverpool are watching Alexander Isak closely as a long-term replacement for Roberto Firmino.
Liverpool are watching Alexander Isak closely with Noticias de Gipuzkoa reporting the Premier League titans see Real Sociedad’s Sweden striker as a long-term replacement for Roberto Firmino.
Isak is a highly talented and spontaneous number nine, blessed with superb footwork, speed and strength.
He’s not a bad finisher either. The one-time Dortmund youngster has found the net 33 times in two seasons at San Sebastian, comfortably outscoring Firmino during the same period.
Isak, who is understood to be estimated at £60 million, has already been associated with a move to Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal.
Klopp openly feels Isak would compliment Mo Salah and Sadio Mane nicely while providing the unforgiving end product Firmino is often accused of lacking.
Earlier this week, 21-year-old Isak insisted his “plan is to stay at Real Sociedad”.
