However, the Sky Sports pundit believes that City will win the Premier League title ahead of Arsenal this season.
Neville said: “I don’t think they (Arsenal) will win the league, let’s be really clear. I think Manchester City will this league by a street in the end.”
Manchester City are the clear favourites to win the Premier League this season, but Arsenal’s chances of winning the title should not be dismissed just yet.
City have arguably the best squad in England, and Erling Haaland is one of the most lethal strikers.
Yes, Arsenal are currently top of the Premier League table, but they are a very young team that is still developing and growing.
City has established and world-class players in every position on the field.
If Arsenal is to win the Premier League title this season, they must continue to play well and win games as they have been.
If they are to beat City to the Premier League title, the North London club cannot afford to have a bad run in the league.
