
LAZIO football club has announced the sudden death of their midfielder Daniel Guerini after the 19 years old was involved in a has he was involved in a fatal car crash in Rome.
According to the Italian Reports, the accident took place around 8 pm on Wednesday. Meanwhile, the other two involved in the accident are said to be in a very critical condition.
The Lazio football club tweeted:”We are shocked by the pain. The president and all the people involved with Lazio are together with the family of the young Daniel Guerini.”
The Italian newspaper Gazetta reported that the midfielder’s vehicle came into a head-on collision with an A-Class Mercedes. The two passengers who were in his car were rushed to hospital. The 68-year-old man in the Mercedes was also rushed to the hospital but it is reported that he is not in a bad situation.The police are already investigating the cause of the accident.

Guerini was a Lazio youth academy product. In 2016, he joined Torino on a free transfer. At youth level, he played for Torino and Fiorentina before he was loaned to Spal earlier last year. He rejoined Lazio on a permanent three-year contract in January.
Torino on learning the sudden death of their former young player tweeted: “President Urbano Cairo and the whole Torino Football Club, incredulous and deeply saddened, gather around the Guerini family for the tragic death of Daniel, our former Primavera player.”
Fiorentina tweet read: “We are shocked and saddened to learn of the sudden death of Lazio youngster Daniel Guerini, a member of the Fiorentina youth academy in 2018/19 and 2019/20.
“The thoughts of President Commisso and everyone at the club are with the Guerini family at this extremely difficult time.”

Hellas Verona FC tweeted: “Hellas Verona expresses deep condolences and heartfelt closeness to Lazio for the tragic death of Daniel Guerini.”
