Kylian Mbappe’s mum pictured pointing to Liverpool badge at World Cup after France star’s claim about Klopp’s team
Kylian Mbappe’s mother delighted many Liverpool supporters by posing with a fan and pointing to the club’s emblem.
The shot was taken in Qatar prior to England’s quarterfinal loss to France at the World Cup, where she was watching her son compete.

Mbappe’s mother, Fayza Lamari, has witnessed him score five goals thus far, and the 23-year-old is two victories away from consecutive World Cup titles.
Even though he signed a contract extension with PSG in May, uncertainty persists regarding his domestic future.
Liverpool had been linked with a bid for the striker, regarded by many as the best in the world, but his massive contract with the Ligue 1 champions precluded a transfer.
Mbappe has previously lauded Jurgen Klopp’s side and stated that he held talks with Liverpool five years prior to his move from Monaco to PSG.
He also stated that his mother’s favorite team is Liverpool, and the photo of her posing with the club’s logo would verify his allegation.
On his Liverpool talks, Mbappe told the Telegraph: “We talked a little bit, but not too much. We talked a little bit.
“I talked to Liverpool because it’s the favourite club of my mum, my mum loves Liverpool. I don’t know why, you will have to ask her! It’s a good club and we met them five years ago. When I was in Monaco I met them. It’s a big club.”
It is unknown if Mbappe’s mother influenced the negotiations, but with his time in Ligue 1 possibly coming to an end, Anfield might be a future destination for the sensation.
Mbappe has been in outstanding form for Paris Saint-Germain this season, notching 19 goals and five assists in 20 matches across all competitions.
In recent months, his connection with Lionel Messi has blossomed, and the two might face off in Sunday’s World Cup final.
Messi’s masterclass helped him secure his position; now it is Mbappe’s turn.
