Jurgen Klopp has praised David Moyes ahead of the Liverpool match after noticing a significant change in West Ham.

West Ham travel to Anfield on Wednesday to face a Liverpool side that appears to be returning to form.

West Ham drew 1-1 at Southampton on Sunday – a result which left fans and manager Moyes hugely frustrated.

Liverpool, on the other hand, felt no such angst after becoming the first team this season to defeat Manchester City.

Anfield is rarely a happy hunting ground for West Ham – or any team, as Man City discovered on Sunday when Mo Salah scored in a 1-0 victory.

Despite a lackluster start to the season, West Ham head there with optimism following the arrival of several quality players in the summer.

Jurgen Klopp has praised David Moyes ahead of the Liverpool match after noticing a significant change at West Ham.

The German believes that now that West Ham has another quality striker, Antonio can play fewer games and be even more dangerous.

And the Reds boss praised Moyes’ ‘incredible’ job in east London since taking over less than three years ago.

“We respect them a lot,” Klopp said about West Ham in his pre-match press conference.

hey caused us a lot of problems, here and there (at London Stadium) as well all the time.

“David is just doing an incredible job and now brought in new players, really quality players, options to change.

“Michail Antonio had to play like 80 games in the past pretty much!

“And now they can share it a little bit up front there, with international (European) duty. That makes absolute sense.

“(Lucas) Paqueta, great player; (Thilo) Kehrer I know obviously from Germany, top-class defender. Only to name a few.

“That’s just the development of West Ham and that makes it for us even more difficult.”
