Karim Benzema, a star player for Real Madrid, may be in position to make a stunning comeback to France’s national team for the 2022 FIFA World Cup.

Although Deschamps’ reigning world champion team has been dealt a series of injury-related setbacks and withdrawals, Benzema is fit enough to make the trip back to the Middle East.
Benzema is expected to resume full training in Madrid within the next few days, according to reports from RMC Sport that were relayed by Diario AS. Benzema’s comeback would be made possible by Deschamps’ decision not to call up a replacement player.
Before their match against Tunisia on November 30, which will be their penultimate game in Group D, France will already have a spot reserved for them in the round of 16.
