Juventus scandal survivor issues come-and-get-me plea to United

Manchester United  has been offered the chance to sign Dusan Vlahovic from Juventus.

The Red Devils have been presented with a golden opportunity to sign the prolific Serbian who has been linked to the club on multiple occasions in the past.

The Italian giants are already out of the Champions League and have been docked 15 points in Serie A following a financial investigation.

The point deduction drops the Old Lady to tenth place, with Champions League qualification looking increasingly impossible for this season.

Vlahovic values Champions League competition and aspires to compete at the highest level. United is currently in third place and is poised for a top-four finish.

United has been made aware of Vlahovic’s availability, according to 90min. United has also been informed that the player is willing to move to Old Trafford less than a year after leaving Fiorentina for Juventus.

“Juventus are understood to be almost understanding of the player’s [Vlahovic] position and are willing to come to the table either in January or in the summer, though are looking to at least recoup the amount they paid for Vlahovic last year if they are to do a deal.”

“United’s transfer team have always liked the player, but have never moved into the running before as they were aware of Vlahovic’s desire to join Juventus in the first place.”

“As United narrow down their shortlist for a new number nine, they have been told that the striker himself would like to play for manager Erik ten Hag.”

United could evaluate the 23-year-old along with their other targets.

Ten Hag also includes Harry Kane, Victor Osimhen, and Benjamin Sesko on his list.

Not only have the 20-time English champions been offered the chance to sign Vlahovic, but so have other clubs. He has also informed Arsenal, PSG, Chelsea, and Bayern Munich of his desire to move.

United’s pursuit of Vlahovic could be aided by qualification for the Champions League. The club believes that by participating in Europe’s premier competition, spending restrictions will be lifted.

It will not only make United more attractive, but it will also give them more flexibility with regard to FFP regulations.
