Liverpool goalkeeper stole three valuable points in the race for Champions League qualification.

With the score 1-1 in the 95th minute of Sunday’s Premier League game, he headed Trent Alexander-Arnold’s corner into the net.

It is the first time a goalkeeper has scored a competitive goal for Liverpool in their whole history and eased the pressure to keep their top 4 dreams alive.

The former AS Roma man scored an unbelievable injury-time winner as Jurgen Klopp’s side came from behind to command all three points at The Hawthorns

Speaking on the goal after the game, Reds manager Klopp said:

“Wow, is a pretty good word. It was spectacular and a good game. What a moment!

“That is so far the highlight. I hope we have time for another highlight [this season]. It was a tricky game. Winning that way is really special. I couldn’t be happier in the moment.

“It’s the best goal I’ve ever seen scored by a goalkeeper! Striker’s score like that. If Olivier Giroud scores like that you say it’s a worldie. It’s a worldie! Wow!

“[Alisson’s] our player, our boy and our brother. When he is suffering we are all suffering. It’s hard in these moments.

“There are more important things than football but when football can deliver moments like this for him, and all the boys, and our fans, then football is the best thing for a few seconds than anything else out there.
“We are not even halfway through.

“The way that his teammates showed today how much they like him is the best description. He is a wonderful, wonderful, wonderful, wonderful person and [he is] funny, smart, thoughtful, intense in moments.

“He is just a great guy and it couldn’t have been for a better person to have such a special moment after all that he went through. I am really, really happy for him.

“We have to win going to Turf Moor. We have to win.
