Jurgen Klopp Liverpool transfer forecast becomes genuine

Liverpool supporters won’t shed too many tears over Zinedine Zidane’s exit from Real Madrid.
But the big-name managerial merry-go-round is constantly advancing with Zidane just one of several top managers set to be on the move that could have big knock-on effects for the transfer market.
Kylian Mbappe’s fate remains the topic of endless speculation with the striker continuing to oppose signing a new contract with the French giants.
The World Cup winner has regularly been associated with moves to both Liverpool and Real Madrid, with rumors hinting he is strongly attracted by the idea of working with Red’s boss Jurgen Klopp or France legend Zidane.
Now both clubs have experienced financial problems during the coronavirus pandemic, which would make any such agreement difficult to achieve this summer.
And Klopp has revealed he can’t see the striker or any other big-money transfer arriving this summer as a result.
‘I hear a lot about big-money moves, I don’t know if Kylian Mbappe is going or not, whether Haaland or Sancho will, these kinds of players,” he said earlier this month.
“I don’t see that happening this summer because the football world is still not in the same place it was before.”
But despite such an acceptance from the German, Zidane’s own exit could prompt a change in stance from Mbappe.
It was his compatriot who was said to be pushing for Real Madrid to sign the striker, with the charm offensive perhaps losing such an appeal now the 1998 World Cup winner is no longer at the Bernabeu.

Manchester United fans spot ‘worrying’ problem over Ibrahima Konate joining Liverpool

Liverpool have agreed their first signing of the season with Ibrahima Konate, and it has captured the attention of Manchester United fans.
The 22-year-old featured for Leipzig in both Champions League group games against Man United prior to Christmas, featuring in the final game to knock Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side out of the competition.
After seeing the headlines that Konate has joined Liverpool, United supporters took to Twitter to express their worry.
Here is a pick of what they had to say:
Sukh Saini: “Konate & VVD pairing is going to be a serious problem next season. 36m is very good business. Can only wish that our board is half decent one day.”
Akhilesh Gannavarapu: “Liverpool are about to sign Konate to improve their defence, while MUFC is about to reward mediocrity and dross by giving Ole Gunnar Solskjaer a three-year extension. Levels to how clubs are run, and their ambitions.”
McSauce: “Liverpool signing Konate for £36m while we still have Jones and Bailly competing to see who can be the most reckless or injured and Lindelof who clearly isn’t ever going to be a top CB. Frustrating.”
Peter Thomas: “So Liverpool trigger the release clause for Konate, anything from United yet? Don’t be daft, we will wait until everyone else has done their business first, joke.”
Paul Newman: “Konaté to Liverpool is a worrying sign for MUFC. €35m is a steal.”
Martinho Utd: “LFC have agreed to sign Konate. MUFC need to move fast and get Ole’s priority CB and not his 3rd or 4th choice.”
SgRedDevil: “LFC completing the signing of Ibrahima Konate from RB Leipzig for ~ 36m in the next 48 hours. Terrific signing if they can manage to keep him fit. Will form a tremendous partnership with VVD. A massive upgrade on all bar 1 of LFC’s CBs.”
