Jules Kounde is reportedly worried his move to Chelsea from Sevilla is in danger of collapsing.

Reports last month suggested a deal had been agreed to bring the center-back to Stamford Bridge, with Kurt Zouma reportedly set to move in the opposite direction.

The Blues were reluctant to meet the £68million asking price for the 23-year-old, so settled on a player-swap deal plus cash to expedite the move.

Zouma looked a likely candidate, with an additional €35m (£30m) offered to cover the costs, although it was alleged Sevilla wanted €45m (£40m).

According to Spanish publication Diario de Sevilla, there is ‘growing uncertainty that a deal will take place at all now.

Zouma is keen to settle in the Premier League, with West Ham keen on a move, whilst the two teams are still distant in their valuations.

Due to the setbacks in the proceeding, Kounde is reportedly ‘feeling uneasy’ about the settlement, despite having agreed on a four-year deal with Chelsea.

However, talkSPORT’s transfer correspondent Alex Crook has the latest information on the situation and remains convinced a deal will be achieved.

Crook said: “I think Kounde will happen. I think at the moment they are haggling over whether Kurt Zouma will be part of that deal.

“I think Zouma wants to stay in the Premier League. I know West Ham would be keen to sign him, but maybe not for the price Chelsea are looking for.

“With Tammy Abraham, I think they are going to have to lower that £40million price or he will be price out of a move.”
