Journalist exposes argument he spotted between Lloris and Son in Wolves clash

Hugo Lloris was seen shouting at Heung-min Son during Tottenham’s 1-0 win over Wolves this afternoon, according to Alasdair Gold.

Tottenham struggled in the first half of the early Saturday kickoff before finding another gear in the second, with Dejan Kulusevski and Ivan Perisic impressing in the wide areas.

While his strike partner Harry Kane scored, it was a disappointing day for Heung-min Son, who missed a couple of good chances in front of goal.

Hugo Lloris had a go at his South Korean teammate for failing to offer an option on the break, according to Alasdair Gold, and Son had a few words to say in response to his captain.

Fortunately, the argument did not escalate to the level of the altercation between the two players a few seasons ago, which spilled into the locker room.

When it comes to in-game disagreements, Son Heung-min and Hugo Lloris have a history.

During a win over Everton in 2020, the Tottenham duo were seen arguing as they exited the field.

Lloris later told reporters that it was due to Son not tracking back and allowing Everton to shoot from range late in the first half.

But it was odd to see Son always so calm and Lloris not being the ‘scream and scream’ type captain.
