After blacking out his Instagram profile and erasing all of his postings, Jadon Sancho sparked uncertainty.
Gareth Southgate omitted the attacker from England’s World Cup team earlier this year, making him the most notable player left out.
Sancho is taking a break from social media to focus on his family and the next phase of the Premier League season, however he has not yet explained why he deleted his posts.
The 22-year-old, who joined Manchester United for a staggering £73 million last summer, has struggled for form since his arrival in England, with his last game for the Three Lions coming in September of last year.
It was recently revealed that the 22-year- old’s timekeeping was a concern for Southgate prior to his exclusion from the World Cup roster.

Sancho began the season at Manchester United under new manager Erik ten Hag, but has since been replaced by Anthony Elanga on the wing.
Due to injuries, he missed United’s last four games before the break.
It was alleged that Sancho arrived late to a squad meeting prior to England’s October 2021 World Cup qualifier against Andorra.
Southgate begins meetings only when all players are present, so he and his team were forced to wait. The United player was then excluded from the subsequent England team.
Since making his debut in 2018, the 22-year-old has been capped 23 times by England.
