Jack Wilshere reveals his shock at an official Arsenal announcement.
Jack Wilshere has shared his confusion on Twitter to the official release from Arsenal that Steve Bould is departing the Gunners this summer.
The Gunners have affirmed that Bould will be bequeathing the north London club after a 33-year association with them.
He’s been in management as the Under-23s manager in the past two years, plus he previously worked as an assistant manager under Arsene Wenger.
Additionally, during his playing career, the center-back made 372 appearances in 11 years at Emirates.
Bould departs Arsenal with a legendary rank, but the focus will now turn towards who will succeed him in the Under-23s position.
Ex-Arsenal player Jack Wilshere, who worked under Bould, has been left astounded by the news on Twitter. It seems fairly obvious he opposes the declaration.

A New Era?
For Gunners supporters, they will be extremely grateful for everything Bould has given their club because he bleeds Arsenal.
A change isn’t too big a shock though given the way the Under-23s played in the 2020/21 season.
Arsenal’s youth team finished 10th out of 13 teams in the Premier League 2 division table.
There has been some super young talent to come out of the academy lately with the likes of Bukayo Saka and Emile Smith Rowe. But, they need to keep that production line going the best they can.
