“It’s not of interest to me”: Four-time A-League-winning boss shoots down Tottenham links
Ange Postecoglou, the Celtic manager, has dismissed rumors connecting him to the Tottenham Hotspur job.
Antonio Conte, the current coach, is expected to depart Tottenham when his contract expires this summer.
Spurs may be searching for a replacement, and Postecoglou is one of the names that have been mentioned in connection with the job.
Postecoglou has previously won four A-League titles, two each with South Melbourne FC and Brisbane Roar, during his time in Australia.
Ange Postecoglou, who was born in Athens but is an Australian coach, is currently working with Celtic. However, his contract, like Conte’s, will expire at the conclusion of the season (according to Transfermarkt). The Scottish club is in a good position to achieve a domestic treble.
Celtic has already won the Scottish League Cup, and they are still competing in the Scottish Cup. They also have a nine-point lead over Rangers in the league table after playing 28 games. Regarding his future at the club, the 57-year-old coach stated (according to BBC):
“It’s not of interest to me. I don’t wake up and get an early briefing on the latest gossip. The rest of it doesn’t mean anything to me. It doesn’t affect me or the people around me. Like most things, people want to have something to talk about.”

It’s understandable. When a team is searching for a new manager, tabloids tend to mention many names, and that appears to be what’s happening with Spurs too.
Despite what he said, joining N17 could be a significant career advancement for Postecoglou. While winning titles in Scotland is noteworthy, achieving the same at Tottenham Hotspur, a top-six club in one of the world’s most prominent and fiercely contested leagues, would elevate his status to that of a star.
Postecoglou may become a free agent this summer, and for Spurs, he could be a viable choice if they’re seeking a highly experienced manager who has already tasted success and won trophies.
