Mykhaylo Mudryk made his Chelsea debut against Liverpool today, and he impressed in a substitute appearance at Anfield.

Arsenal pursued Mudryk throughout the transfer window, but he ultimately joined Chelsea in a mega-money deal with a massive contract.

Today, he was given minutes off the bench and he performed admirably for the most part. Mudryk threatened James Milner as soon as he entered the game, and he helped the Blues create several excellent opportunities in the final minutes. His dribbling and touch were impressive, and Chelsea supporters have much to look forward to.

Undoubtedly, Arsenal supporters have been paying close attention. As were a number of commentators, including Gary Neville, who admitted he would not want to play against the Ukrainian if he were still active.

Mudryk appears to have much to offer Chelsea, and in his brief time on the field he demonstrated why Arsenal pursued him so aggressively.

Next game, Graham Potter will undoubtedly start him. Those Chelsea players who were already there prior to his arrival have been warned.
