‘I love them’: Bernardo Silva says there’s two Arsenal players he’s a huge fan of

Bernardo Silva expressed his affection for Gabriel Jesus and Oleksandr Zinchenko when asked to choose between the Arsenal duo. During an interview on ESPN’s segment called You Have To Answer, the Manchester City player found it difficult to make a decision as both players joined Arsenal in the previous summer transfer window.

For a significant portion of the season, it seemed like Manchester City would regret allowing Gabriel Jesus and Oleksandr Zinchenko to transfer to Arsenal.

Mikel Arteta’s team desperately needed a goal-scoring striker throughout the season. Additionally, Arteta recognized the need for a full-back capable of playing in an inverted role, considering it to be the missing puzzle piece for his tactical system.

There have been challenges along the way for both Gabriel Jesus and Oleksandr Zinchenko, including injury setbacks and occasional criticism. Jesus, in particular, may not have achieved the goal-scoring productivity that some expected. Similarly, Zinchenko’s defensive skills have been questioned at times.

However, it seemed likely that both players would have the opportunity to win the Premier League trophy for the third consecutive year, as Arsenal posed a strong challenge to Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City team throughout the season.

Bernardo Silva was presented with various choices to pick from, including dogs and cats, Cristiano Ronaldo and Eusebio, as well as Rui Costa and Luis Figo. Additionally, he was asked to choose between the two players who moved to North London, referring to Gabriel Jesus and Oleksandr Zinchenko.

“Oh my god, I love them both. They are both my friends. I cannot answer that,” he told ESPN.

Arsenal’s young squad indicates that they have the potential to be contenders in the title race once again. Additionally, their upcoming return to the Champions League adds further excitement.

The success of their signings this summer will be crucial for their progress. If they can replicate the achievements of the previous summer, when they acquired Gabriel Jesus and Oleksandr Zinchenko, it’s difficult to envision them fading away from the title picture.
