‘I fancy’: Gary Neville predicts who’ll win in Tottenham Hotspur v Arsenal PL clash
Gary Neville predicted on his podcast that Antonio Conte’s Tottenham Hotspur will win this week’s North London derby against Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal.
Tottenham will face Arsenal in the Premier League on Thursday evening at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
Spurs enter the meeting against Arsenal on the back of a 1-1 draw at Anfield against Liverpool in the league.
Meanwhile, Arsenal defeated Leeds United 2-1 at the Emirates Stadium on Sunday in the Premier League.
The Gunners currently sit fourth in the Premier League rankings with 66 points from 35 games, four points ahead of fifth-placed Tottenham.
Former Manchester United great Neville believes Conte’s team will win the North London derby against Arteta’s side this week.
Neville said on his podcast: “I fancy Tottenham on Thursday night. I think they were brilliant last night at Anfield.”
The North London derby between Tottenham and Arsenal, in our opinion, could decide the top-four battle.
Chelsea might still drop out of the Champions League rankings, but Tottenham must win to keep their chances of finishing in the top four alive.
Conte’s team would benefit less from a draw.
Tottenham will have the advantage of playing at home, but Arsenal are in terrific form right now and will fancy their chances of picking up at least a point in the North London derby.
