Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola was interviewed on possible interest in Tottenham striker Harry Kane for the first time since the England international reportedly reemphasized his want to leave the London club this summer.
Sky Sports had stated that Manchester City are one of three English clubs to have reached out to Harry Kane’s representatives CK66, with the Cityzens predicted to be in the market for a forward this summer to succeed the departing Sergio Aguero.
It was reported on Monday that Spurs and England forward Harry Kane had told his current club his desires to leave the Tottenham Hotspur stadium this summer, many reports have associated the 27-year-old with a move to the Etihad.
On Tuesday, The Mirror reported that Harry Kane had set his sights on a move to the Premier League Champions, while journalists at The Athletic claimed that the England striker was perceived to be the club’s first-choice striker target.

However, speaking after the his team sustained their sixth league defeat of the season on Tuesday night with a disappointing 3-2 loss to Brighton on the South coast – Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola was quick to move on from questions linking Kane to the Noerth-West
In his post-match press conference, Pep Guardiola said to the media, “Next question. He’s a Tottenham player, please,” when asked about the reports encompassing Harry Kane.
The Red Devils are set to compete with Man City for Kane, 27, after he told Spurs his desire to leave.
Daniel Levy will be expected to slap a £150m price tag on his star forward when the transfer market opens at the end of the season.
But the Tottenham chairman is intent on keeping Kane, who has three years to run on his contract in North London or at least selling him elsewhere.
