Hojbjerg discloses what Rice told him in a heated confrontation during Spurs victory over West Ham

During an intense altercation on the field, Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg, a prominent player for Tottenham , disclosed that Declan Rice informed him that he is not liked by anyone.

After scoring goals from Emerson Royal and Heung-min Son, Tottenham defeated West Ham quite easily, resulting in their relegation to the bottom of the league table.

At the conclusion of the game, Ivan Perisic made a reckless challenge on Vladimir Coufal, which resulted in a heated confrontation between Declan Rice and Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg. Journalist Carrie Brown reported that during the altercation, Rice taunted Hojbjerg by saying “no one likes you.”

The situation was eventually diffused by referee Michael Oliver. Despite the confrontation, Tottenham emerged victorious with a 2-0 win, with Hojbjerg playing a significant role in the first goal.

In the second half of the game, Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg made a remarkable pass that reached Ben Davies, who then assisted Emerson in scoring the first goal of the match.

Heung-min Son, who was initially not included in the starting lineup, made an immediate impact after he substituted Richarlison. He collaborated with Harry Kane to score the second goal, securing a victory and three points for Tottenham.

Speaking to Sky Sports, the South Korea international said: “Nobody wants to sit on the bench but it’s a decision you to have accept.

“The decision is always made by the manager and I need to accept. I tried my best to help the team. I got the chance and I was happy to score.”

With these three points, Tottenham has moved ahead of Newcastle in the Premier League standings, securing a place in the top four, as Newcastle suffered a defeat at the hands of Liverpool on the previous day.

Cristian Stellini, who is temporarily leading the team, has now maintained a perfect record with three consecutive wins over Marseille, Manchester City, and West Ham.

These wins were achieved in the absence of regular manager Antonio Conte, who has been away from the touchline.

The Tottenham assistant coach said: “It was a really difficult first half because it was a game that we had players who fight a lot, we choose this type of team for this sort of game.

“In the second half they played well, our energy was bigger and we produced many situations to score.

“I said that we have to use passion because in this type of game, the time arrives where you can create something.

“In the first half, the space was small, in the second half we can stretch them.

“We worked in the pocket with a number ten and sometimes dropping Harry Kane in this space and Harry can create many situations with his quality.”
