Harry Redknapp issues a stern warning to Cristiano Ronaldo about West Ham 29-year-old
Harry Redknapp has written in The Sun that West Ham United right-back Vladimir Coufal could frustrate Manchester United forward Cristiano Ronaldo today.
West Ham will play United at London Stadium in the Premier League in a few hours’ time.
Ronaldo, who returned to United from Juventus in the summer transfer window, is poised to start.
The former Real Madrid forward scored twice against Newcastle United in the Premier League last weekend and also found the back of the net in the Champions League.
Former West Ham manager Redknapp maintains that right-back Coufal will trouble Ronaldo throughout the match if he starts.

Redknapp wrote in The Sun:
“I particularly like the right-back Vladimir Coufal. Rested on Thursday obviously for a reason, he will be in and around Ronaldo throughout the game and won’t give him a moment’s peace.”
Coufal joined West Ham last season and has established himself as an exceptional player in the team.
The Czech Republic international right-back is very solid defensively and can also be a handful going forward.
The 29-year-old provided seven assists in the Premier League last season and has already provided one assist in the league this campaign.
Ronaldo is a very intelligent player who will make it hard for the West Ham defenders with his movement in and around the penalty area.
For West Ham to stop Ronaldo, everyone in the Hammers’ backline, including Coufal, will have to be on top of their game.
