Graham Potter Discloses Quadruple Fitness Blow Ahead Of Chelsea’s Game Against Leicester

Manager Graham Potter has stated that Reece James, Raheem Sterling, and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang may not be available for Chelsea game against Leicester due to fitness issues.

James was absent from Friday’s training due to illness and will not be included in the matchday squad for the weekend’s visit to King Power Stadium.

Sterling, on the other hand, is uncertain to play due to a hamstring issue. Potter has disclosed that the player has been experiencing some muscle tightness, so it would be risky to include him in the game.

It’s also improbable for Aubameyang to be included in the bench for the Leicester game as he has been dealing with continuous back problems over the past few weeks.

Although N’Golo Kante has been actively participating in full training, Potter has verified that the French midfielder is not prepared to make his return to the field.

Kante has been out of action for almost seven months after going through surgery for a significant hamstring injury, and he is still not fit enough to play in the first-team matches.

However, he might make his comeback in the upcoming Everton game next weekend.
