Gomez picks out Liverpool academy wonderkid with ‘no ceiling’, says he’s set for a ‘great career’
Liverpool have lots of youngsters to be getting excited about.
The Reds have been bringing in wonderkids from all over the world in recent transfer windows, and some of them are making their way into the first team.
Kaide Gordon has been singled out for praise by Joe Gomez, who claims the youngster has “no ceiling.”
This week, the Reds won the third round of the EFL Cup with ease.
Liverpool defeated Norwich City 3-0 at Carrow Road, with Takumi Minamino scoring twice and Divock Origi scoring once.
Jürgen Klopp gave debuts to three academy standouts, one of whom was Kaide Gordon.

The 16-year-old started on the right wing and displayed frequent flashes of quality throughout the game, cutting inside and firing narrowly wide in the first half before finding Origi in space in the second.
It was a fantastic first impression for his age, and it has fans excited.
It’s not just supporters getting hyped about the wonderkid.
Joe Gomez has also been embossed with Kaide Gordon.
The England international liked what he saw during pre-season and since then, he told Goal:
“Every time he trains with us he applies himself properly. He does extra things that wouldn’t even have crossed my mind when I was his age.
Hats off to him, and I’m sure he can go on to have a great career.
“The platform he has, there’s no ceiling to it.”
