Gini Wijnaldum dedicates goal to Liverpool player by imitating celebration.
Former Liverpool midfielder Gini Wijnaldum devoted his goal for the Netherlands against Ukraine to international teammate Virgil Van Dijk.
Wijnaldum, though he is authoritatively under deal with Liverpool until June 30th, will be playing for Paris Saint-Germain next term. That has already been ascertained by the French giants.
Though the Liverpool part of his career has now almost concluded, the club will always be in his heart, with the Champions League and Premier League victories unforgettable recollections.
Liverpool also house one of Wijnaldum’s most special friends in the game, Virgil Van Dijk, and you don’t presume their friendship will be ending with the midfielder’s departure from Merseyside.
Van Dijk has no any concerns that Wijnaldum was going to move onto greener pastures in Paris and forget that such feeling do exist, Van Dijk definitely won’t be worrying after Netherlands’ 3-2 win over Ukraine.

Wijnaldum scored the opening goal for the Dutch on home turf in a game which proved to be the most entertaining battle of the Euro 2020 tournament so far.
Having done so, he wheeled away in celebration, devoting his goal to Van Dijk, who is grievously unable to play in the tournament while he continues to recover from his ACL tear.
Wijnaldum captained his country in Virgil van Dijk’s absenteeism.
It was asa result of poor goalkeeping that gifted the midfielder the opportunity to open the scoring and the 30-year-old made no mistake, rifling the ball into the top corner.
Liverpool supporters were pleased to see the fan-favorite on the scoresheet but the point he would never score in a red shirt again soon hit home.
Gary Neville understands he will be challenging to replace at Anfield.
He told ITV: “Liverpool have got so many great players and he very rarely gets a mention.
“But I think he’ll be missed badly next season. It’s going to be very difficult to replace him at Liverpool.”
