Four players that could be Arsenal’s huge signing after delighted fans spot tell-tale Edu sign

Four players that could be Arsenal’s huge signing after delighted fans spot tell-tale Edu sign

Fans of Arsenal delighted on social media after Edu posted a video of himself cooking on Instagram, which, according to recent rumor, is a hint that the club’s sports director intends to make significant signings during the upcoming transfer window.

With Mikel Arteta seeking a Premier League title and the squad in need of reinforcement, SportsDias takes a look at four players who may be the marquee signing every Gunners supporter desires…

Mykhaylo Mudryk

Arsenal and Mudryk have been flirting since the summer, and it’s possible that this is the most probable signing of all.

The 21-year-old winger has only recently been on the scene, but his outstanding performances for Shakhtar Donetsk have attracted the attention of the continent’s biggest clubs.

The Ukrainian, who has contributed to five goals in six Champions League games this season, has stated that he would find it tough to reject a move to north London.

Mudryk’s stellar reputation means that Edu won’t be able to acquire him cheaply, despite the fact that price estimates vary considerably.

Danilo, the less glamorous of Arsenal’s two most likely additions, was reportedly the target of a late-summer £21 million proposal from the Gunners.

The timing of the offer forced Palmeiras to decline, and the midfielder went on to contribute to their league championship victory.

Arsenal’s defensive midfield lacks depth, yet at age 21, Danilo might provide cover and become a superstar in the future.

“I see myself as mature enough to play in any competition in the world,” he told UOL earlier this year. “I’m ready.”

Ismael Bennacer

Bennacer, who is 25 years old and has experience at the highest level, is another player that might assist fix Arteta’s depth problem in the center of the field. Bennacer has the ability to step in whenever necessary.

Since the beginning of last season, the Algerian international has been a regular for AC Milan, and Liverpool have apparently matched Arsenal’s interest in a January deal.

Bennacer spent two seasons at the Emirates between 2015 and 2017, however he only appeared once at the senior level.

Now that he has flourished, the Gunners are rumored to be eager to organize a reunion, which may make him their top target in the next transfer window.

Joao Felix

If Arsenal were to acquire Felix in January, there is no doubt that he would qualify as a huge signing.

According to the CEO of Atletico Madrid, he intends to leave the Spanish city and a number of elite clubs have apparently offered to sign him.

Gabriel Jesus will be sidelined for a time after undergoing knee surgery, so the Gunners need reinforcements up front. Whether they are willing to pursue that by potentially spending over £88 million on Felix is a whole different question.
