First league title for Barcelona great Xavi as a Coach.

Barcelona great Xavi has made a breakthrough in his coaching career after he guided Qatar Al Sadd football club to the league title with high expectation for the former Spain midfielder to lead Barcelona.

Al Sadd secured the trophy on Sunday with a 3-0 comfortable win over Umm Salal which enabled his team to lead by 13 clear points with just four games to be played. The ex Barcelona great won the league title with Al Saad during the 2018-2019 season where he played for the club during his final years as a player.

The 41 years old has led the4 club to a string of trophy successes in the Qatar cup competition and he was very happy to finally land the league title. He expressed his happiness of winning his first league title having won it for the club as a player.

Barcelona great Xavi went on to thank the fans who said they supported the club with force throughout the campaign and promised them that he will continue working for them to win more championship for them and also make them happy. His message gave hopes to fans of Xavi’s long term commitment to the club despite frequent link up with a return to his former club Barcelona.
