‘Fantastic player’: Kulusevski names Tottenham teammate as one of the most underrated players in the world
Dejan Kulusevki told Match of the Day that Rodrigo Bentancur is one of the world’s most underrated players after his brace for Tottenham Hotspur on Saturday.
After a seven-goal thriller at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, Antonio Conte’s squad enters the World Cup on a high.
Spurs trailed 3-2 with 10 minutes remaining after falling down for the third time that afternoon.
On two occasions, Bentancur was able to step up and gain Tottenham three points. The Uruguayan scored two goals in two minutes to devastate Leeds.

The performance of Kulusevski upon his return to the starting lineup was monumental for the Spurs.
At times, the Sweden international was just electrifying. Despite this, the 22-year-old argued that one of his teammates deserves significantly more credit for his performance.
“When we were 3-3, then I said in my head next time I get the ball, I’m going to shoot and I’m going to score. But then, it was a different situation and I see Rodri alone and I just pray to God that he would score,” he told Match of the Day.
“And then he did. He’s a fantastic player, one of the most underrated players in the world. And I’m very happy for him and wish him all the best for his World Cup.”
