Hector Bellerin captained Arsenal in last night Europa League game against Slavia Prague with regular captain Aubnameyang left on the bench. Arsenal let off their lead at Emirates after Slavia hero Holes late goal canceled out Pepe strike. Eagle-eyed fans spot out what Bellerin did after the final whistle.

Slavia’s Holes seemed determined to lay his hands on  Hector Bellerin’s shirt. The 28-year-old Spaniard goal was his first in a European club competition.

The Slavia match hero approached Bellerin intending to claim his shirt to take it home as a souvenir. Bellerin however shaked Holes hand but refused to hand him over his shirt. The Arsenal defender just walked away with his shirt gluedto his back, denying hole to lay his hand on it.

This moment gained some attention with some Arsenal fans taking it to Twitter to react to Bellerin’s decision.

While explaining his decision to captain Bellerin and leave Aubameyang on the bench, Arteta said:

“It was some big decisions to leave some players out but we decided to play the team who had the best chance to start the game and have some key players there to change the game when we need it.

“Once they came on they had a real impact, which is very necessary for this competition, and they did what we expect them to do.”

Speaking of the match outcome, he said:

“I think the players stepped in and gave absolutely everything. It’s a really difficult opponent to play with.

“The amount of duels and individual man to man situations they create, we managed that really well in certain moments.
