Fabrizio Romano shares what sources have told him about Arne Slot and Spurs
According to Fabrizio Romano’s YouTube channel, he has received information from sources stating that Arne Slot is now the leading candidate for the Tottenham job.
The rumors connecting Arne Slot to Tottenham have been growing stronger over the past week, and within the last day, several media sources have highlighted the likelihood of the Dutchman taking over from Antonio Conte.
On Monday morning, The Daily Mail published a report stating that Arne Slot, who is 44 years old, is set to meet with the Feyenoord management on Wednesday to inform them of his desire to leave the club. It is anticipated that Tottenham will then proceed with an official approach for him later this week.
Fabrizio Romano has also shared similar information, stating that the Dutch coach will engage in direct discussions with the Feyenoord leadership. These conversations will involve exploring the potential terms and compensation necessary for his departure from De Kuip.
The journalist indicates that Arne Slot is highly regarded by Tottenham and has a realistic opportunity of securing the managerial position at the club. Romano further reveals that the successful manager, who has won the Eredivisie title, is now leading the race for the managerial role at Tottenham’s N17.
Additionally, Romano explains that although Luis Enrique, Ange Postecoglou, and Ruben Amorim are also being considered by Tottenham, sources close to those managers now believe that Slot is the top contender and the most likely candidate to be appointed as the new manager.
