Fabrizio Romano asserts Arsenal is considering a late hijack of Everton $30 million winger target with “crazy potential.”

As they search for a new winger, Arsenal desire Mykhaylo Mudryk and could make a move for the Shakhtar Donetsk star before the transfer deadline.

The majority of the Gunners’ business has been completed for weeks, and the Arsenal rumor mill has certainly slowed down in recent weeks.

Following Nicolas Pepe’s departure from the Emirates Stadium, the search has begun for a new winger.

Pepe has joined Nice on loan for the remainder of the season, and Arsenal now seeks a right winger to complement Bukayo Saka.

As the transfer for the Wolverhampton Wanderers ace Pedro Neto appears unlikely, Arsenal may look elsewhere.

Mykhailo Mudryk of Shakhtar Donetsk has been added to the Arsenal roster.

Fabrizio Romano asserted on the Here We Go podcast that Arsenal has taken the first step toward signing Mudryk by inquiring about a potential transaction.

Mudryk was close to joining Brentford this summer. According to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, Arsenal could steal Mudryk from Everton.

“I’m told that they are asking for information on a super-talented guy playing for Shakhtar, Mudryk is his name,” said Romano. “He was really close to joining Brentford, but then some German clubs and Juventus were interested.”

“Now Arsenal are asking for information, let’s see if it becomes a negotiation because as of now, there is no talks club-to-club, Arsenal and Shakhtar,” he added.

Mudryk, 21 years old, can play on either flank and has emerged as one of the top young talents in Ukrainian football.

Mudryk has recorded two goals and ten assists in 28 games for Shakhtar’s first team, and he has earned five caps for Ukraine.

Shakhtar legend and current director of football Darijo Srna compared Mudryk to Kylian Mbappe and Vinicius Junior as the best young attackers in the world, stating that Mudryk has “crazy potential.”

According to Football24 in Ukraine, Shakhtar want approximately €35 million (£30 million) for Mudryk, so Arsenal must make a substantial offer.

Mudryk will be attracted to the opportunity to play for a major Premier League club, and the presence of his Ukrainian national teammate Oleksandr Zinchenko must also be appealing.

Mudryk could become Arsenal’s top winger target before the transfer window closes, although a deal is far from imminent.
