Incoming signing Pedro Porro talked about his move to Tottenham for the first time in public before he left for London.
SportsDias understands that the right-back will move from Sporting for £39 million later on Tuesday, which is the last day of the January transfer window.
Monday, Sporting backed out of the deal by asking for more money, even though Porro had already said goodbye and had a medical in London scheduled.
More talks have brought the transfer back to life, and Porro, who missed training and was said to be upset about the delays, will now complete the move on Deadline Day. He talked to reporters at the airport in Lisbon on Monday night.

Pedro Porro was sold by Manchester City to Sporting for £7.6 million last summer. The 23-year-old has had a great season in Portugal.
Porro was doing better than Kyle Walker and Joao Cancelo earlier in the season, and a lot of big clubs in Europe were interested in him, so his future looked good.
