Ex Gunner star voted WORST transfer by fans following a summer move from Arsenal

After his summer transfer from Arsenal, supporters have deemed HECTOR BELLERIN to be Barcelona’s worst acquisition.

The former Arsenal player joined the La Liga powerhouses on a free transfer when his North London contract expired.

Bellerin signed a one-year contract with Barcelona, but his return to his boyhood club has not been as fruitful as he had planned.

Having made only five games for Barcelona, of which three were starts, he has been unable to claim the right-back position.

Due to injury, Bellerin has only played 20 minutes since mid-September and has been on the bench for the club’s last four games.

To make matters worse for the defender, the Spanish publication  Mundo Deportivo  asked supporters to rank Barcelona’s summer transfers out of ten, a test he failed.

While former Bayern Munich striker Robert Lewandowski received an outstanding 9.32 out of 10, Bellerin received a terrible 4.42.

Lewandowski was the overwhelming favorite to receive the highest approval rating because he had scored 18 goals in 19 club matches.

However, other players, including Chelsea transfer target Jules Kounde, achieved an astounding 7.82 points.

Bellerin is comparable to former AC Milan midfielder Franck Kessie, who was rated 5.38 after 13 games in all competitions and one goal.

As he said to Radio Catalunya earlier this month, Bellerin hoped to extend his tenure with the Blaugrana. “I want to sign a new deal as I want to stay here at Barca, I’m really happy.”

AS says that Barcelona has already chosen not to renew the Spaniard’s contract, therefore the Spaniard’s wish may not be achieved.
