Every Liverpool player available vs Real Madrid as four ruled out and two more ineligible
Liverpool faces a huge challenge to try and recover from their 5-2 defeat in the first leg of their tie against Real Madrid at the Santiago Bernabéu.
Their chances of progressing in the Champions League are not looking good, but there is still a possibility of a miraculous turnaround.
Liverpool has a reputation for coming back from seemingly impossible situations in Europe, so if any team can pull off a comeback, it would be them.
However, it will require a lot of effort and determination from Liverpool to overcome this deficit.
With the exception of David Alaba, who is unavailable for selection, most of Real Madrid’s important players are in contention to start against Liverpool.
Ferland Mendy, who missed the match at Anfield due to a hamstring injury, is in the process of returning to full fitness. Karim Benzema, who has a history of causing trouble for Liverpool, is also expected to be available despite sitting out the Espanyol game over the weekend.
Sportsdias.com has provided an update on the Champions League squad available to Liverpool manager Jürgen Klopp.
