Europa League draw in full: Man United get tough test in quarter-final
Sevilla will be Manchester United’s opponent in the quarter-finals of the Europa League.
Manchester United will face a tough challenge against Sevilla, who have already beaten Real Betis and Barcelona in previous rounds.
If Manchester United can overcome Sevilla, they will face either Juventus or Sporting Lisbon in the semi-finals.
Manchester United and Sevilla last met in the 2017/18 season of the Champions League, with Sevilla winning 2-1 on aggregate and eventually losing to Bayern Munich in the quarter-finals.
In the Europa League draw on Friday, Union Saint-Gilloise of Belgium, who have been a surprise package in this year’s competition, were drawn against Bayer Leverkusen from Germany.
Union Saint-Gilloise will be hoping to continue their incredible European journey with another upset against their German opponents.
Meanwhile, Jose Mourinho’s Roma will face Feyenoord in a repeat of last year’s first-ever Europa Conference League final, which Roma won 1-0 thanks to a goal from Nicolo Zaniolo in Tirana.
