Erling Haaland comment about Manchester United is just a glimpse of unfolding events.

Norwegian International Erling Haaland remained linked to a move to Old Trafford, with several European powerhouses racing to sign the highly coveted player in the world right now.

However, Haaland appears relaxed with the top clubs appearing to take the center stage in a bid to win the battle in landing the Borrusia Dortmund forward to their side.

Haaland’s class is not subject to scrutiny. The player has scored stunning 33 goals in 31 appearances across all competitions. He has provided eight assists which just shows how prolific he is at just 20 years of age.

Manchester United are yet to give up with the competition tightening up with both Real Madrid, Man City, and Chelsea joining up and threatening to make a bid.

This lot of speculation and discussions across the media all over the world are enough to cause stress to a player of any caliber. However, Haaland remains calm and taking everything in his stride at just 20 years of age. He seemed unmoved despite the transfer saga surrounding his football career.

Erling Haaland was asked about his future, his chances of joining big clubs such as Manchester United, and his possibility of emulating big players such as Messi and Cristiano, to which he responded gently and calmly.

“I still have three years of contract [at Dortmund],” said Haaland. “I am not worried about that. The media are the ones who write about it, I don’t focus on those things.

“I want to improve every day. Ronaldo and Messi… I don’t need to talk about them. They are the best of all time. They are still very far away.”
