Erik ten Hag confirms key Man United man ‘will not be involved’ against Arsenal

Man United manager Erik ten Hag has announced the crucial team news for Sunday’s match against Arsenal.

Suddenly, the future of Manchester United Football Club appears relatively promising.

The Red Devils have won three consecutive games for the first time since December. Under Erik ten Hag, the Old Trafford team continues to develop.

Premier League contests are never simple. On Sunday, unbeaten Arsenal will visit the Theatre of Dreams, extending the current difficult stretch.

Mikel Arteta’s squad has a perfect record.

Before the game, Ten Hag confirmed that a crucial player will ‘not be involved’ against Arsenal owing to an Achilles injury . Clearly, we’re discussing Anthony Martial.

“It’s difficult to say when I talk about Luke Shaw and Aaron, but Anthony Martial will not be involved on Sunday.” Ten Hag told club media.

When asked about Martial’s possible return, the Dutchman responded, : “I cannot tell at this moment.”

Luke Shaw and Aaron Wan-Bissaka have a chance to play, but I do not anticipate Ten Hag to alter his back four.

Martial is a significant loss. Due to the tight turnaround between games, we believed he would not be fit to play tomorrow, while his absence remains a worry.

United simply does not appear to be the same squad without him. Cristiano Ronaldo lacks work ethic, whilst Marcus Rashford is inferior to the Frenchman in terms of holding the ball.

Hopefully, this injury will not be permanent. The sooner the former AS Monaco player returns to the roster, the better.

It appears that Antony, who was signed on the day of the transfer deadline, is fit to play if the manager feels him ready for action. This is excellent news for United  fans who are eager to see him perform.
